As per World Health Organization (WHO) mental health theme for 2017 being “Depression, let’s talk” and keeping in mind the increasing stress in this changing lifestyle much importance is given to mental health especially for youth and young adults and elderly. The health camp arranged in Wardha District of Maharashtra state with the support of very energetic and dedicated volunteers of the organization who reached to each person in the community.
It was held on 23rd April 2017 at Samyak Bouddh Vihar Bheem Nagar Wardha. A total 10 member team of volunteers and doctors from various fields including medical, dental, Ayurveda, psychology were involved. The program included tests like Blood pressure measurement, Glucose level, Dental checkup and counselling for mental health issues. Total 98 beneficiaries amongst whom approximately 60 were youth benefited from the mental health camp.
